Exciting Career Opportunity for a Dedicated Couple to Join Our Award-Winning Team at Geraldine TOP 10 Holiday Park.

We’re thrilled to offer a unique position for a hardworking couple at the Geraldine TOP 10 Holiday Park, our twice Supreme Award-Winning Park in 2021 and 2023. Enjoy a full-time role with a live-on-site requirement, working alongside the owners on a work schedule of 10 days on followed by 4 days off, allowing ample time to discover the local area. Situated in the vibrant Geraldine community, our park’s central location is a bonus, providing easy access to Christchurch, Lake Tekapo, and Timaru and beyond. Please note, our lease conditions do not permit dogs on the property. This opportunity demands a minimum commitment of 12 months from a couple ready to dive into the rewarding challenge of Holiday Park operations.

This role demands a hand-on approach in every aspect of running the holiday park and taking full responsibility in the absence of the owners. We are looking for a couple who can continue our high standards, work as part of the team and enjoy working with and alongside guest’s, staff, and the owners. The ideal candidates will bring a can-do attitude, vibrant energy, a passion for excellence and have an eye for detail.

Key responsibilities include front office management, guest communication, housekeeping, and maintenance of both facilities and the grounds, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, creating memories for life with all guests.

Skills & Experience

Excellent time management and organization skills

Outstanding customer service and communication skills,

Ability to efficiently prioritise, with a keen eye for detail,
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities,
People management and leadership skills,
Identifying, reporting, and rectifying health & safety issues,
High level of computer literacy,

Current NZ driver’s licence.

Current first-aid certificate (or be willing to complete).

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Ideally, experience in the Holiday Park industry would be useful.

However, more importantly, we happy to train the right couple who we feel would fit best into our small but hard-working team.
