Sponsored by RESCO

This award recognises a business that has the wellbeing of communities at its heart, is representative of our culture and values, has an excellent visitor experience at its core, nurtures the wider environment and is brought to life by a profitable enterprise that shows a high level of responsibility. This is an all-round award.

The winners of this award will be announced at the Holiday Park Awards on 30 July 2026 and receives a trophy to keep.

What the Judges are looking for
  • Judges are looking for a park that embodies excellence across every aspect of its operation – one with a clear identity, strong values, and standout achievements that make a compelling case for why they deserve this recognition. They want to see a business that is deeply connected to its local community, genuinely reflects the culture and values of Aotearoa, and delivers an exceptional, inclusive visitor experience that consistently leaves a lasting impression.
  • What sets a strong entry apart is evidence of a park that leads with purpose and responsibility. Judges want to see genuine commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability, alongside a well-managed, financially resilient business that balances profitability with innovation and long-term thinking. A park that looks after its people, values its team, and demonstrates that being a great employer is just as important as being a great destination will stand out.
