Whangateau Holiday Park is a tranquil award-winning waterfront Holiday Park and is known for its beautiful white sand of Omaha Beach, fantastic snorkelling and diving in the pristine waters of the Goat Island marine reserve along with the attractions of Point Wells, Leigh, Pakiri and Matheson Bay. Whangateau is in the Rodney District which is 1-hour drive north of central Auckland and less than 1.5 hours from Auckland International Airport.

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer focused people to join our team in a permanent part time Cleaner positions.   This role will see you completing scheduled cleaning requirements as well as responding to customer cleaning requests and will ensure that a high standard of facility and amenity cleanliness is always maintained. Some of your responsibilities will include cleaning accommodation, amenities, ablutions, common areas and the grounds, maintaining cleaning materials, highlighting any maintenance issues, and, where required, providing guests with friendly and consistent customer service.  

He kōrero mōu: About you

Ideally, you’ll have some previous experience in commercial or household cleaning. It goes without saying that you’ll be a naturally tidy and well-presented person. You’ll be comfortable working in a physical cleaning role, have excellent attention to detail and be adept at managing your time efficiently. As this role will see you interact with both fellow team members and guests, you will be able to relate to people at all levels and might have some previous experience in customer service.  You will take pride in your work and be committed to providing exceptional results for our guests.  

The park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays, we are especially busy throughout summer months so having the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekend days and additional shifts as required is an advantage.
