Our current Managers, after over 4 years of wonderful service, are looking to pursue new adventures and other interests – So, they have given us plenty of notice to find the right couple, to fill these special positions.

Award winning Athenree Hot Springs & Holiday Park is one of New Zealand’s leading family focused Holiday Parks, and we wish to appoint a couple to the position of Holiday Park Managers. The couple must be guest focused, goal orientated, motivated and be able to lead our successful team into the future. 

This management position is a full-time, live-in role - for 2 people.

We are an Independent, Family Owned, Holiday Park - which is uniquely located at the northern end of Tauranga Harbour, in the sunny Bay of Plenty.

Our all seasons destination is surrounded by a safe estuary and is set in a tranquil, park-like setting along with two natural, thermal mineral pools surrounded by mosaic artwork.

To our Guests, we offer a range of accommodation options from standard cabins, studio units and spacious 2-bedroom Motel Units and Deluxe Self-Contained Chalets. Our tent and campervan sites are spacious, and a number are shaded and sheltered.

Our facilities are spotless, plus we have covered BBQ and dining areas, a trampoline, games room, TV lounge, a library, with a children’s playground on the reserve.



The Holiday Park Managers will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the Park, the management of our Team, the attainment of our high business standards as well as achieving Customer Service and Quality excellence.

The role is ‘hands-on’ and varied. The successful applicants will be required to be a ‘Jack-of-all-Trades’ and be able to maintain and manage all the park grounds and facilities as well as have business skills – including administrative / accounting, marketing and an ability to effectively lead our Team forward.

Plus, in-conjunction with the owners, be responsible for overseeing and developing the Park for the future.

On-site training will be provided.

When on duty, the successful applicants will be required to live on-site, so accommodation options are available.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
